WELCOME TO GLENDALE BURBANK
ALUMNAE CHAPTER OF DELTA GAMMA
Consistent with our Founders’ thoughts in 1873, our primary purpose is to create an environment for our members in which lasting friendships and our vows of sisterhood emanate all aspects of our Fraternity. We encourage an atmosphere which will foster high ideals of friendship among college women, promote their educational and cultural interests, create in them a true sense of social responsibility and develop in them high qualities of character.
Delta Gamma is more than just a collegiate experience; it is a lifetime of commitment, support and opportunity awaiting you. It marks the beginning of a relationship that will last for a lifetime.
OUR CHAPTER
The Glendale Burbank alumnae chapter of Delta Gamma was chartered in 1950. For 50 years, our members were from the communities of Glendale, Burbank, La Crescenta, Tujunga, Sun Valley, and Sunland. Over 15 years ago, the Glendale Burbank alumnae chapter zip codes were revised to add members from all communities along the 210 freeway from Pasadena to the 605 Freeway. These communities include Altadena, Arcadia, Duarte, Monrovia, Pasadena, San Gabriel, San Marino, Sierra Madre, South Pasadena.
MEMBERSHIP
There are over 650 alumnae members living in our area. Our members range from recent grads to 75+year members. Members are encouraged to pay Per Capita dues, chapter dues, and attend meetings and activities when possible.
We maintain a database using Delta Gamma Alumnae Assistant that is updated frequently using the latest data available from Delta Gamma Executive Offices. We also use Delta Gamma eOps and Member Planet to communicate with our members.
HOW TO JOIN OUR CHAPTER
Delta Gamma members interested in joining our chapter should make sure that their current home and email addresses are on file at EO. We send our newsletter and all meeting invitations by email to all members living in the communities that define our chapter area. You may update your home or email address, by sending it to addresschange@deltagamma.org. If you live out of our area, you may send a message to EO requesting that you be added to our chapter data base.
EVENTS
We offer many events including chapter potluck friendship meetings, support to the Blind Children's Center in Los Angeles, support to two area Alumnae Panhellenic groups, fitness activities, activities for mothers with young children, Founders Day, and DG Foundation fundraisers.
